What are sub-accounts?

Sub-accounts let you manage a Made Open profile on behalf of someone else — for example, a person without an email address or someone who needs extra support online.

Who are sub-accounts for?

They’re designed for parents, carers, or support workers who help others access community activities, volunteering, or local services. This could include children, older adults, or vulnerable individuals.

How do sub-accounts work?

You create and manage the sub-account from your own main account. The person you support can then have their own profile and take part in activities — without needing to log in themselves.
