Volunteer to an opportunity

• Make sure you are signed in.
• Visit the activity stream from the main menu. There may be a quick link to '349 activities' in the top bar too.
• Search by typing 'volunteer' to find all volunteering opportunities.
• Choose the opportunity you are interested in.
• Click or tap on the the 'Volunteer to this' button.
• Depending on how the organisation has set up the volunteering opportunity, one of two things will happen:
  1. A pop-up form will ask you for a couple of details and will include a space to write a message about why you're interested in the opportunity.
  2. You'll be directed away from the platform to a form or webpage on the organisation's own website to apply.

Both of these scenarios will send a 'pledge' notification to the organisation, letting them know you're interested in the opportunity. They may reach out via the chat function on the platform, or contact you directly if you include your phone number or email address.
