Connecting with members is at the heart of what this platform is about. By connecting with other members, you can build relationships, share ideas and collaborate on projects that matter to you.

Connections help you grow your network, find opportunities to get involved and learn from others in your community. Whether you’re an individual looking to make a difference or part of an organisation seeking partnerships, connecting with others makes it easier to exchange knowledge, offer support and work together to create positive local impact.

How to connect with other members

Visit the members stream to view all members.

You can either use the icons on the member tiles to send lots of connection requests on the members stream, or click/tap on a particular member and connect with them from their profile.
On the members stream, select the ‘profile and plus sign’ icon to connect with a member on the platform.
From a profile page, use the button to 'connect'.
Write a message explaining why you'd like to connect.

To block a member from messaging you:

From a message with a member, use the drop down arrow to the right of the message and use the ‘block user’ button.

To disconnect with a member:

Visit your 'Dashboard', then 'Your network' and 'Your connections' and then select 'Disconnect' by a member.
