Add activity badges

Badges are a useful way to associate activities with a partner, network or theme.

Awarding a badge will place an icon over the corner of an activity's image in the activity stream.

This badge can link to a page where you explain about the association and include any relevant information.

  1. Sign into your platform.
  2. Type /CMS after the platform URL.
  3. Use the left-hand menu to select 'Badges'.
  4. Click 'New badge'.
  5. Check the box for 'Activities'.
  6. If required, check the box 'available during activity set up'. If selected, members will be able to select this badge during stage 3 of activity set up. As an administrator you can remove the badge during activity approval, if relevant.
  7. Give your badge a name and set the frame type. (eg hexagon)
  8. Describe the badge. (Who does it apply to? What is the awarding criteria?)
  9. Upload your badge image.
  10. Set the 'pre-text' eg associated with FACT.
  11. If required, paste the URL to a page the badge image links to when clicked on/tapped.
  12. Contact us if your badge design is something we could quote for.
  13. Save the badge.
