Set up member associations
What are member associations?
Member associations play a crucial role in fostering collaboration, professional development and advocacy. Our new functionality allows your members to associate themselves with another account. This is particularly useful for employees, volunteers, members, associates or students who want to show their association with an organisation, network or business. This new feature also paves the way for measuring collective social impact in the future.
How to set up member associations
- Visit 'platform management' in the CMS and go to 'account types'.
- Choose which member account types can be verified* & can set up associations.
- Use the cog to edit an account type and check the box enabling 'verifications' and then the box enabling 'assocations'.
- Save.
* All members will need to be verified in order to accept associations on their profile.
