What are teams / networks / groups?

Teams (sometimes known as 'networks' or groups') are collaborative spaces where members can work together around a shared purpose or project. They function like small, focused communities within the wider platform, helping people organise, plan and share updates more effectively.

A team might be used by:

  • An organisation coordinating its staff or volunteers
  • A project group working towards a specific goal
  • A partnership of community organisations collaborating on an initiative
  • A network of people with a shared interest

Within a team, members can talk in multiple chatrooms, post updates, share files or resources, discuss ideas and manage related activities or events. Teams make it easier for people with common interests or responsibilities to stay connected and aligned.

Depending on the platform’s setup, teams may also be private (visible only to members) or public (open for others to join or follow).
