Add a poll

1. Sign in to your account

   Use the ‘Sign in’ link — it’s at the top right of the screen on desktops and tablets, or within the main menu on mobile devices.

2. Start adding your poll

   Go to the main menu and select ‘Add an activity’, then choose ‘Add a poll’.

3. Complete the poll details
   • Title: Write a short, clear sentence that describes exactly what your poll is about.
   • Description: Add one or two detailed paragraphs explaining what the poll is for, why people should take part, and what to expect. Include keywords people might search for.
4. Image: Upload a relevant, good-quality photo or graphic (avoid text on images).
5. Set your poll options
   • Choose whether your poll will be a single-choice or ranked type.
   • Decide if you want the poll to become private after it expires.
   • Add your polling options — you can include an image and extra information for each option if you like.
   • For ranked polls, set how many options each voter can include in their shortlist.

6. Add filters and tags

   Tag your poll with relevant filter items so it appears in platform searches and reaches the right audience.

7. Submit your poll

   When you’re happy with your setup, click ‘Submit’.

   Note: Your poll may need to be approved by an administrator before it goes live.
